Spread knowledge about math and science and be an enlightening presence on the Bethany College Campus and surrounding community. It gives students a chance at volunteer projects, hearing from guest speakers and upper classmen about their career paths, and it also gets students to interact not only with the campus, but with the community as well. Newtonians society can be a great resume builder, and helpful especially for the math and science majors, but for all majors too.

Bethany's student-athletes' commitment to individual development and teamwork have defined Swedes Athletics. Bethany College has been recognized regionally and nationally for its championship teams. The Swedes belong to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and are a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). Bethany fields teams in 22 sports:

The mission of the Office of Student Affairs is to foster the development of the whole person, mind, body and spirit, according to the rubric expressed in the mission and values of the College. Including Integrity, Hospitality, Community, Servant Leadership, and Sustainability. We do this by providing care, direction, activity, and education in all areas of the students' lives outside the classroom. This is accomplished through a variety of programs and services offered by various departments within the Office of Student Affairs. We also seek to collaborate closely with other key constituencies across campus.

Student Affairs will play a key role in articulating and celebrating the core identity of the institution by intentionally moving towards establishing a culture in keeping with the schools' core values. This movement will enable all constituencies and stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, parents, and the Lindsborg community itself) to be on the same page and to move in the same direction which will contribute to a unique educational experience. In our areas of influence, we seek specifically to provide students with a rich, dynamic environment in which the intellectual, social, spiritual, and moral spheres of life reinforce one another.
